Creo que esto - y su post anterior totalmente relacionado - es el verdadero trasfondo de la política de estos años. Armamentismo, intervenciones en Medio Oriente, guerras, es todo para sostener un consumo de petroleo exagerado que encima hará colapsar el ecosistema global. Ojalá opere un profundo cambio en USA al cabo de la era Bush (ya falta poco)

Firmar el tratado sería muy costoso para la economía de Estados Unidos (ya vimos el impresionante nivel de emisiones que tiene en este mapa) y dificilmente los norteamericanos accedan a quedar expuestos a decisiones de otros países.
Si van a hacer algo en su propio país, será bajo su más absoluto control y sin aceptar terceros países que le digan cómo y cuando.
